Nice photo, but I'm pretty sure it's not a red wing.

It is a good shot of a female red wing blackbird. A juvenile male would look about the same but I doubt any juvenile males this time of year

Fine photo of a female RWBB!

On one of my jaunts to a local nature trail about a week ago, I had a RWBB pair voice their displeasure at my intrusion. Yesterday I saw the female return to a tree and sit on a nest.

I'm looking forward, in the coming weeks, to checking on them. At a respectable distance, of course!
