Can someone tell me what he/she is? Saw it on my bathroom ceiling about ten minutes ago. Very calm. These are SOC. Stood on a chair holding rig upside down over my head. This is kind of fun!

Looks to be a male Phidippus sp. of jumping spider. They make good pets. Readily eating flies and the like.

The 'bold jumper', Phidippus auddax. Although all species in this family are pretty 'bold'.

What a cutie! Jumpers are in a class of their own when it comes to hamming it up for the camera. I never tire of seeing them so thanks for sharing yours.

That was a nice find, it is hard holding the camera above your head while balancing on a chair but you managed it very well.
