btw, this talent was agency so post processing skin smoothing is verboten... i.e forbidden... ignoring this will likely result in an end of access to the agency's "New Faces" board for testing... likewise if the talent significantly alters their hair length or color they will need to get imagery that reflects same for their agency... When a client books an agency model for an assignment they need to arrive on set looking exactly as "advertised"... hope this makes sense...

Completely makes sense. I have done acting headshots and exact same rules apply. I actually have had to sign off that no post processing was done to the image other than cropping and color correction.
