Very good B&W shot, Wuligal.
The Barn like this Image is a Masterpiece. Outstanding.
Thanks again folks. I'm glad you enjoyed seeing the Dunn barn. Next time I'm in that neighborhood I'll share your kind words with the Dunn family. It will mean a lot to them.
Like the B&W treatment Wuligal, well done!

Beautiful photo! And as stated earlier they are quickly disappearing and won't be replaced. So a photo, especially one as nice as this, should be kept, framed and a copy for the local historical society.
There is a sadness to see a fine old structure falling into decay. It began as someone's hope and dream - now this. Thanks for caring.
I know beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but why are photographs of certain subjects such as old barns or houses more appealing to most of us than their modern counterparts. I know that we project a history into these buildings (the stories they could tell if they could only talk), but I think there is something even more than that. An orphanage that housed homeless waifs may have hundreds of stories to tell, but if it were a squat squalid concrete block building, a photograph of it probably would not appeal to most of us. There is some sort of an aesthetic going on here that I can't quite put my finger on, but this photograph captures perfectly. Thanks for bringing it into the world for the rest of us to enjoy.
Thank you RodeoMan for your thought provoking response to the photo and putting into words what I could not.
