Third post in 3 days. This is the last of our pack, Emma. She is a turn in from Kentucky and was rescued by an organization in Illinois. We gave her a forever home here in SE Texas about 2 years ago. Every dog has its own personality and Emma is more on the timid side. We thought she was a Golden mix, but DNA tests show she has no Golden in her at all. As always, I appreciate any constructive critiques on my photography skills.

Aw...Emma, is as adorable as her other sisters and aren't those DNA test's interesting? I would have thought Golden too Either way you have 3 beautiful dogs who bring you an enormous amount of joy and you've opened your heart and home to your two rescues and Tessa. Kudos to you ♥ ♥

Emma appreciates your comment. I looked up her DNA test: " Emma's test results show Labrador Retriever / Cocker Spaniel / Shih Tzu Mix crossed with Labrador Retriever / Australian Cattle Dog Mix with a portion of the ancestry mixed beyond three generations."

She is soo beautiful! Her eyes say so much; just makes you wonder what her past was like. As your photography goes, I don't see how it could be much better. I love the clarity, and the lighting has really captured her beautiful coat and color. God bless You for rescuing this beautiful creature.

I'm not usually a denier but if there are other DNA labs I would have another test done. Emma has all the traits of a golden. We have had 8 Goldens, the perfect pet for our family.
As to photography, it looks like there was better light on her left profile.

We were as surprised as you are. We have had AKC Goldens going back to 1979: Taffy (who raised our kids from infants, we just helped her), Sunshine, Samantha, Cassie, Jasmine, Sirah, and we still have Tessa (Contessa Rose). Pepsi is our first rescue and from Puerto Rico and Emma was a turn in from Kentucky. Emma was 1 1/2 and pregnant at the time. Our vet of 20 years, who gave her a check up before we rescued her, thought she was a Golden mix. Our vet's office chose the DNA lab.
