Nice work! The humor of the last one tickled me! All excellent captures. Thanks for sharing your walk with us. Regarding the young mother: She deserves to be exhausted with two babies, a dog and a carriage to handle!

Thank you very much for taking the time to look in and comment Cambriaman it's much appreciated.Glad you liked them.

Very enjoyable series, Jim. I really like the “sugar stealer.” Why do they call it that?

Thanks for looking in Bernie i always appreciate your visits.Glad you liked them and. the name sugar stealer was a name given to them in the area where we live in Lancashire but I don't know if it was used further afield and the reason we called them that was in those days, many years ago doors where always open on warm sunny days and the dandelion seed heads would some times float on the breeze and enter someone's house where there was most likely a dish full of sugar on the table and for a reason I can't give you We would some times find the sugar stealer resting in the sugar dish and thats how it got that name..Daft I know but at least you've learned some useless information .

Like your photos. not sure how you couple lens to take your photos.

Morning Highlander and thank you very much for looking in it's much appreciated.Glad you liked them and I should have learned by now not to put some of our English ways of saying things :sm09 ,what I should have said was, " I used my Sony a 77 with my Tamron macro lens attached".Sorry for the confusion Highlander.

I didn't find your story to be daft at all. I love hearing "folk lore," as it says so much about the community in which it developed. Cheers!
