A pair of American kestrels have taken up residence on one of the poles from the electric sub-station. I used the Nikon Coolpix P1000 to take the photos using the zoom to get in close.

Nice series of a bird of prey that’s really tough to photograph...and good job with your P1000...I couldn’t hold it still enough to get descent photos!
