So I got the e-mail from Nikon yesterday that they are discontinuing their offer of a free FTZ adapter with the purchase of a new Z6 or Z7. How many Hogs have-and-have-used their Z6 with the FTZ and their DSLR FX Nikkors and what do you think of the results. Time on the "Special" is running out and I'm wondering if I should pull the trigger since I have many FX Nikkors already.

I think you should make the decision based on whether you really want the camera. It's first generation mirrorless for them, not perfect in the eyes of many, and an argument could be made for waiting until the next release(s). Do you buy a car based on the tires it comes with?

The adapter works great with all my lenses

I mostly use the Z6 with the 24-70 Z mount lens.

But I did try it with an F mount Nikkor 300 F/4.0 and a Nikkor 500 F/4.0. Neither lens had VR except for the Z6 in body VR. It worked great!!! Since the adapter has no glass, there is no loss in image quality.

FYI - when the free FTZ offer ends it will be replaced on the 28th with a $200 rebate.

If they are Michelins, maybe. Point is, I have D850 and Df bodies. Love them. Have been keeping an eye out for rumored Df2. I'm no Spring Chicken (fixed income) and wondering if holding out for a $3000 DF "upgrade" is more perspicacious than going mirrorless for $2000 on what is a very well done Z6.

Doesn't Nikon just drive you crazy sometimes, Bill?

The Z6 is an excellent camera. The FTZ works seamlessly with Nikon lenses. Do yourself a favor if you buy the Z6. Get one of the S lenses and the FTZ. I have the 24-70S and 50S and I like them a lot.

Nope! I was crazy before I ever heard of Nikon.
