As usual, your shots are fantastic and your capabilities just blow me away.
For some reason the crispness and detail of the martins you've been posting (in magnified download) don't seem to match those of your eagles. Has your equipment changed? I'll admit I tend to always go to a photo's magnified view just to see how crisp the detail is, and I've been told that's really not what I should look for. One of my many flaws I'm afraid. Another of my flaws is that I can't get anywhere near the detail you accomplish so I shouldn't even be questioning this. Forgive...

Well, this is a Violet-green Swallow, not a martin, Ron. My prime lens and camera are extremely sharp for detail. I can easily read a car license plate a half-mile away in my camera. Thank you very much, Ron.
Just now looking at these. Wow, I think you hit the jackpot with this photo.
A tricky shot of this small, elusive bird always flying except to perch for a few seconds. When it does sit still, one can see, if the Sun is shining, all the vivid colors this pretty bird possesses. Thank you very much, LESTAHL.
