Need Video Editing Software Recommendation

I just got a Mavic 2 Pro and need some video editing software. (I have a PC.) I'm new at video, so want something easy to use, that I can grow with. I'm thinking of spending $100. (vs something like Premier Pro with an annual license.)
Are any of the freebies good to use?

I have the same drone. I had the Mavic Pro before that one. I started using Adobe Premiere Elements. It works fine, but you better have a pretty powerful computer to work on video. Oh, and don't use the H.265 video format with your drone. There isn't much out there that can work with those files yet. Shoot video in H.264 for now and when technology catches up, then switch to H.265
