LR Classic Panorama Issue

Hi. Hopefully someone can help here. Have several vertical panorama images I'm trying to merge in LR Classic. Preview comes up fine. Then during the actual merge I get an error message that the panorama is not able to be completed. Horizontal merge works fine. First time I've ever experienced this issue. Thanks in advance for any help / suggestions provided.

My LR program gives me three types of panorama. When I get that message, I switch the type of panorama and this usually solves the problem.

Do you have the images in portrait mode before attempting the merge?

How much ram do you have in your computer?

Rotate the images to portrait orientation, do the merge, then rotate back. Works for me.

Until recently, I'd not been using LR to make my panoramae, but a separate tool called Autostitch. So far, however, I've not had many problems with LR doing it--it has balked at a couple and I did them using Autostitch.

Thx everyone for your input. Yes I was working with portrait images. Not sure why it happened but I rebooted LR and was able to stitch successfully. Go figure.

When something doesn’t work in LR or PS the easiest thing to try is reboot

If you can't get your issue resolved, try the same thing using Microsoft ICE, its free and a really good stitching program!
