In Kansas? Were you and Keni on a mind meld with her "wicked" note?

I love your pp, Dan! Thanks very much for your time and interest.

What can I say? I like blue skies.

White balance based on the clouds.
A touch of green on the distant hills.
Cropped out the road and cloned out the power lines.
And since I took out the power lines I had to take out the light fixture.

This may be off the reservation, but the idea of focusing on the rhythms of the buildings area came to mind.

Did some dodging and burning to get the eye moving rather than stalling, but not much more.

Then I thought I'd see what ol' Photoshop's algorithms might create, by "cropping" larger than the image, then fussing with lights and darks and re-cropping.

I'm not decided whether or not I like the playing around result.

I think the story here is the whole scene, a farm land that is forlorn but not forsaken, discouraged but not desolate. I think the warm tones of the grasses give it a bit of life and encouragement. Cloning out the utility pole in the center, as well as the utility lines and your car in the right corner would make it appear timeless.

I think it is really fun and interesting by kinda creepy. It's like being watched by hundreds of eyes.

Many thanks for participating!
