I like this!
It is true and just because someone owns a full frame fancy pants camera doesn't mean they know how to take good photographs with it. This just made me think of the times I asked someone to take my picture with something and then had to ask them to retake the picture again because they have no idea how to take a good photograph. My first digital camera was a Sony Cybershot and I loved taking pictures with that camera. I still have my old Canon film camera too, along with several other old camera models probably from the 80's that someone could probably capture some amazing shots with if they know what their doing. I did smile when I read that article and saw my Nikon D7200 on the list, which I just bought. As much as I would love a full frame camera, I just can't afford it, so I don't like feeling like less of a photographer because I'm not using the most expensive equipment out there.
i loved the story of a young boy went into a camera store and showed the owner some of his work with a point and shoot camera. he asked the owner if he purchased a full frame 5k camera would he get better results.
the owner said NO, but it would make it easier.
