CEOs definitely get things done. The check on the CEO is the board of directors. You need only look at GE or Sears to see what happens when the Board fails its duty. The check on the President is the Congress (ever read the Constitution?) and they have been supplicants for Trump's first two years in office. Politicians come in all stripes from games players to serious advocates for the country and its inhabitants. You seem to tar them all with the brush of the ones you disagree with. Do you like your own Congress person? If not, some of your energies should be directed to getting rid of that person in favor of one you appreciate. That said, I still believe we have a country of law under the Constitution and your advocacy of Trump as CEO is a v**e for unrestrained autocracy.
