As one of those over 58 you refer to and a veteran of that Democratic (Kennedy and Johnson) sponsored fiasco, I have to say that I have met you before. A different name, a different face and at a different place, but you are the same person, the person who always maligns, and belittles yet knows nothing really about what is or has gone on in the world. I will be so glad when the last of 'Nam vets go to their reward...they are very tiresome in their attitudes. I know it is because they are damaged but still if they stay on their meds things would be a lot better for everyone.

Don't know where you are coming from on this but the Nam vets did not start that war. It was started by and managed by a bunch of inept politicians. I think we lost 50,000 Americans. I agree that that war was just as the current two wars...totally unnecessary. I am referring to the attitudes of those currently 58 and older...they seem to have a skewed vision of reality. Maybe its just that they are getting to that angry old man stage but it seems to me they all either need to be medicated or have their scripts adjusted.

That 1 person is is stating the official republican position. The party platform, about to be finalized will support making all abortion, including rape and incest, illegal. Sams platform as 2008 and 2004. The Rebublican establishment is distancing itself from that statement because thry know how unpopular it is. That's standing up for one's principles.
