My daughter gave me a lovely little bouquet of flowers for my birthday, which then doubled for an Easter centerpiece. Enjoyed photographing the flowers in different lighting and from different perspectives. I am interested in which image people like best and why! Thank you for viewing!!

All are lovely. I think I would pick 2, 5 and 10 as my favorites. They are relatively simple.

In my mind/eye 5 without question. To me, there you caught it all. The blooms, stems, vase and water. Very nice.

I like 2&5. 2 is simple And shows the beauty of the subject. Five gives you a feeling of something you’re looking at as you look out the window. Kind of tells a story. I feel the others don’t either have a good crop or there is a lot of extraneous stuff in the photo. Very nice

It's a subjective universe, so excuse me if I give you my subjective take on your images.

Except for #3, I love them all. You've managed to work the subject from a variety of interesting, attractive, and challenging angles. Well done.

As for #3, I think the white mum gets lost and leaves you with an image that doesn't offer very much. While the rest of your images really sing, #3 merely tries to hum. I can't hear it.

All in all, I'd still give you high praise for coming up with the exercise and then pulling it off so nicely. Beautiful work.

Christie, I really do like all of these. However, I slightly prefer the ones without the green sprangles which I find a little distracting.

Nicely done Christy. I can't believe I forgot your Birthday all though it was a few days ago. So Happy belated Birthday and Happy Easter. Hope it was a nice day with the family. Bob

Nice set, Christy. My favorites are #2 & 10, the closeups. I like those two as you have presented them. I like the others but see them as maybe being better with a minor tweak, i.e., a slightly different perspective, a bit of a crop, etc. I love the bokeh that you captured in all. Thanks for sharing them.

I am leaning in the direction of #1 as my overall favorite. That was my first impression and so I had better stick with that. I felt the background in #5 was too bright and distracting. But that's just me.
