shot during a visit to the Memorial at Pearl Harbor. Oil continues to leak from the gallant ship 78 years after the attack in December 1941.
Nicely seen, photographed.
No other words.

Yup, she is still leaking oil! I remember the date because my Mom was born on December 8, 1925 (and because of 12-08-1980).
Great abstract images. Oil on water can be really amazing!
In the second photo take a look in the center of the photo you will see a pic of a young man in all that oil looking up. I worked for the Philadelphia. Navy yard as a welder and they sent me there to help them out on the ships that were in dry dock for4 mo. And I was right across from the Arizona they lit it up every night the scene was very sad but beautiful. Jim Bianco
Wow .., it appears to be leaking more than ever ...nice shots ..

A grim reminder of our history, the young who gave their lives to protect the greatest and most free country on earth! May God bless America and may God rest their souls!
My Navy boot camp company was formed up on December 7, 1962, and I will not forget the commanding officer telling us that because our company was formed on that day, we were charged with the responsibility to ensure that no American ever forgets this day. Your pictures of the tears of Arizona (BB 39) does that in a beautiful way.

You're right. That's amazing. He's look up at you saying, I'm still down here.
Wow....and still oozing after nearly 78 years I believe. Very sad.
