... And LR CC is the future. Sorry. It is. Just look at the sales numbers.

LR/PS may be the future for you but it's not the future for everyone. And depending on exactly what you're doing there are better choices. Both Capture One Pro 12 and DXO Photolab Elite do a number of things much better than any Adobe product does. And like the Adobe products, both Capture One Pro 12 and DXO Photolab Elite also have limitations. I was an Adobe user for well over 10 years but no longer. There's nothing wrong with you singing the praises for Adobe products, they are first rate. You should continue using them if they meet your requirements. But Adobe is no longer the only company out there. It has a lot of first rate competition these days and it's future dominance is not as guaranteed as you may think. The sales numbers don't make Adobe products the best available, they only make them the most well-known and most popular, which is a very different thing.

Linda.com (bought by LinkedIn who was bought by Microsoft)

I did not know that! 😕 How can that be a good thing?

Note that Linda.com is undergoing a name change to "LinkedIn Learning".

What a shame. When Linda was a good educational site. Now? Not as much. 😧

I beg to differ.... The courses are still well done and are more wide ranging than ever.

Lynda was rewarded for her hard work and pioneering the online training formula....

"Lynda Susan Weinman (born January 24, 1955) is an American business owner, computer instructor, and author, who founded an online software training website, lynda.com, with her husband, Bruce Heavin. Lynda.com was acquired by online business network LinkedIn in April 2015 for $1.5 billion."

"On June 13, 2016, Microsoft announced that it would acquire LinkedIn for $196 a share, a total value of $26.2 billion and the largest acquisition made by Microsoft to date."

With a billion here and a billion there, do you think Linda has a DSLR or a mirrorless camera?

I'm guessing both. 😉
