Thanks Jim. One lucky soul arrived with chainsaw in hand, pick up truck with utility
trailer and away went the tree other than the stump which was rotted! He was a very
happy person and we were very happy the burden was off other than some minor
clean up! A tree company is coming next week to remove the stump, fill the crater it left
and seed the damaged area for us. So..... if we were still burning the fireplace, yes
it was a 'boat' load of wood!!!!!

I have an idea. Go out and buy a fire pit or a caldera. Toast some marshmallows and frankfurters.

Thanks Me TOO! Happened in the darkness of night and woke up to the power crews and police
in front of the house with a tree blocking the roadway!!!!
