Shade tree flowers often go unnoticed. The are Red Maple flowers from a low hanging branch. I have not taken a good look before. Too windy for a stack, however.

cut a branch off and take your stack... they are like weeds and grow like them... we cut several feet off ours every year to keep them in check.. not talking cutleaf trees.
