We have three crab apple trees, and one very large weeping Japanese cherry tree that all normally blossom at the same time.
Unfortunately, this year, the crab apple trees were about a week and a half behind the cherry tree, so while I normally like to
see the contract between the pink cherry tree and the darker red of the crab apple trees, it just wasn't there this year.
I also noticed that the crab apple trees are a little more red this year, but that might be because they haven't opened fully.

Taken last year. Notice how much "pinker" the cherry tree is.
