Bird Bathing

I was trying out a lens I bought for my wife Annie's Nikon D5000, Unfortunately on her camera, it won't auto focus. I used it on my D90, opened up to 300mm and took these at about 60 feet away so my bathing friends wouldn't get scared away. I really don't like how the pictures turned out and thought if I used my own 300mm they would have been sharper, The only pp is cropping and straightening out the birdbath tilt. I didn't have the time to hunt for my camera bag fearing they would have a quick dunk and be gone. These are 3 of 8, the others were a little too out of focus to post and that was using auto focus! While the shots aren't great, they are fun!
