I have downloaded the 30 day Trial Version and my review with Before/After Images here:

It is more or less like the Topaz AI Clear, which they have removed from the product list now.
It is available for free if you already own Topaz Denoise or Topaz AI Clear

Did you do your review using the original release or the v.1.0.2 that was released late in the day on Apr 19? The 2nd release, v.1.0.1 was released earlier in the day on Apr 19, and was crashing when used.

I am finding that the v.1.0.2 release is better than the original release. For instance, with the original, the default setting for noise might show that the noise is removed when using the DeNoise AI preview window. Accepting that setting, and returning to Lightroom showed that some noise remained. Using the latest release, what was returned to Lightroom matched what was shown in DeNoise AI. Also, the Sharpening with this latest release is now matching what I was getting using AI Clear.

As for comparing AI Clear to DeNoise AI, I am still finding AI Clear easier to use as it often picks settings that are really good without the need to manually tweak.

Another comparison I have been looking at is the comparison with DxO Prime Noise Removal. DxO Prime is very good at noise removal and I have used it for years. But it doesn't provide the sharpening. In test after test I have tried, the sharpening of AI Clear or DeNoise AI provide a very noticeable improvement over DxO Prime NR. I suppose some future update of DxO might address this.

Out of the blue I received an email from Topaz Labs detailing their new NR product, Topaz Denoise A.I.

Downloaded and installed it right away.

Tested a high noise/high ISO (16,000) shot using .50 NR, .15 Sharpness increase and a .20 detail setting - pretty amazing results...for a point and click adjustment.

Not real slow either, allows either CPU or GPU use.

It exists alongside Topaz Denoise 6, both available as a plugin from within Lightroom, however the plugin external editor setup had an error when it installed on my Mac - basically it was pointing to C:/program files/Topaz as the folder, instead of the proper path for a Mac, easily fixed within 2 seconds.

IMHO - It is definitely worth a look see. Right is original noisy image, left is after Topaz Denoise A.I. with above settings.

A cursory examination of Topaz DeNoise AI appears to show a rather remarkable improvement in pictures with a gross amount of noise, but no improvement – in some cases not as good – in those with just a bit of noise when compared with ON1’s latest version. (I also compared with some other programs’ denoise capabilities.) In that I tend not to have any significant amount of noise in my pictures, I can’t justify spending $59.95 for this program.

Evaluation was using Canon EOS 70D, EF70-200mm f4/L IS USM for my pictures; for noisy images I used that posted by Dngallagher in his original post on this subject (the right half) and some of the test sample images supplied by Topaz.

I allowed the Topaz supplied update to Version 1.0.2; this resulted in the picture being darkened significantly, and for my RAW files, being reduced in size from 5472 x 3648 to 256 x 170!!!!! Jpg similarly went from 1823 x 2288 to 203 x 256. I have reverted to Version 1.0.0!

OK I missed that. I am on a 30 day trial comparing it to Sharpen AI. If they are reducing file size either by reducing image size or resolution to reduce noise that apples and oranges. Since it is past my 75 year old bed time I will check it out in the morning.

I just checked my file size... no difference in resolution. I shoot raw with my 80D, uncropped resolution is 6000x4000 before Denoise A.I. and it is still 6000x4000 after Denoise A.I.

One thing I have noted.... when I round trip from Lightroom to Denoise A.I. as a tiff, the returned image in Lightroom is missing the lens name and ISO settings from EXIF. When I round trip from Lightroom to Photoshop to Denoise A.I. as a tiff, all EXIF info is retained. When I round trip as a JPG to Lightroom all EXIF info is retained. I have opened a ticket with Topaz on this giving them the details.

I recall a similar issue with their Fusion product years ago to use their plugins with Lightroom and missing EXIF.

I am using the 1.0.2 product currently.

My raw files, whether Canon CR2 or Fuji RAF, are opening up dark and hazy not only in DeNoise AI (1.0.2) but also Topaz Studio and Sharpen AI. The JPEGs open fine, without the darkening. Very disturbing so I notified Topaz Support. Anxious to learn what they say.
