snake.. I used a picture of a green tree pythons under side as the background and used Topaz textures on it. Putting a background layer on top of the roses I used a mask to show the roses with different opacity levels..

(looks like a color space issue with the thumbnail not displaying same as the download)

Thank you very much Linda, it looks much better on the download, more like on my computer screen. I made a comment on Bills picture that we would all be using gems as textures on pictures so he said to do one.. I do have a folder with pictures I have taken to use for textures and the snakes belly was one of them..

One that was a total surprise for me was a motion-blur daisy pic that turned out to look like fluffy clouds when blended with a heron on a barn roof. It was just a portion of the pic, though, as was a piece of wave-capped stream turned 90 degrees to become streaks in a foggy sky

I think I saw the heron on the barn roof, Quite often shots that go a bit wrong can be turned into something..
