I find it interesting that the states that depend more strongly on Federal subsidies, are the ones that v**e for representatives who are opposed to such subsidies. That is my point.

There are a lot of intricacies in how that money is calculated, however it is true that states like Alabama and a few others do rely on federal subsidies more so than other states. There are a number of reasons for this, maybe you should count your blessings rather than dwell on what inevitably turns into an ugly argument simply to affirm your political affiliation.

Maybe most of the recipients in those red states are Democrats.
