Left corporate job I hated. I have been passionate about photography since a teen. Time to take my photography to the NEXT level. Been reading and trying to learn lots everyday. Looking for ideas and support where ever I can get it. Advice is welcomed from anyone who makes a living as a photographer.

Welcome! I grew up in Exton, when it was still just a country crossroads and before it became paved over suburbia full of Applebees, Dress Barns, and Bed, Bath & Beyond stores. Let's see some of your stuff!
I don't make a living at photography, but I've judged several photo contests, as well as semi-accurately second-guessed many other photo contests. This photo you've submitted has a lot going for it on several levels. It's very, very good. The only thing I'd like to see is about 10-15% cropped off the top. You're a very good photographer. Keep on keeping on. Glad to have you on board.

Thanks for the feedback--I hope to be critiqued as a "superb" photograher one day--rather sooner than later. I will try to post more later. Keep the feedback coming--but be gentle. My confidence level is at about gutter level...lol :-)
If others of your photos are as good at that one, you have no reason to be beating up on yourself. Please submit more of your work. Looking forward to seeing them.

Hi "Chester County, PA", I'm also in West Grove, Chesco. Glad you're here. I also have a love of photography since my teens and starting that passion up again with a vengeance. This site is great for seeking advice, critiques, and photo tricks. I've been on this site for a short time, and the things I have learned from reading the posts have gotten me more excited about photgraphy even more.
