ON JANUARY 1, 2013, The US Government will be requiring everyone to have direct deposit for for SS checks. Wonder Why? Check out HR 4646. It calls for a 1%tax on ALL BANK TRANSACTIONS. This bill was put forth by Chaka Fattah (D-Pa.) It seems that Chaka has a lotta Fattah between the earsa. Do we need this?

The above is an eRumor.

Here are the facts:
The Truth:
There was a bill in the 111th Congress, House Bill, HR-4646, the Debt Free America Act, that was introduced on February 23, 2010, but it died in committee and was never voted on or passed into law. Some versions of this eRumor allege that the bill was being sneaked into law by members of Congress but that is also fiction.

The bill was sponsored by Democratic Congressional Representative Chaka Fattah of Pennsylvania and says that it is to "establish a fee on transactions which would eliminate the national debt and replace the income tax on individuals." Fattah has a description of the bill along with a press release posted on his Congressional web site. Fattah is a member of the House Appropriations Committee, not President Obama's finance team, as some eRumors alleged.

The Thomas Library is the official site where legislative bills are posted and progress can be monitored. The bill can easily be found and currently the Thomas Library site shows that the Debt Free America Act is in the House committee and then will be referred to the Committee on Ways and Means, the Committees on the Budget, Rules, and Appropriations. Click here for the Thomas Library for text and status of the bill.

The Debt Free America Act HR-4646 can also be found at the Govtrack US site, a civic project that tracks legislative activity. Click for Govtrack.us information on HR-4646.

When you read stuff like this online, and it lists either a House or Senate bill number like the one you cited, realize that unless it says ENR after the bill number it is NOT a bill that has been passed by both houses and signed by the president. Both bodies originate legislation, but after both bodies pass the bill it is considered " enrolled", hence the ENR after the bill. Anything else is just B.S. by someone trying to lie to you.

Now if we could just get to a Majority we might put this country back on the Right track... and give Everyone a fair and equal chance !

Not just the "R-i-c-h and in·flu·en·tial" but Prosperity to Everyone.

Prosperity to everyone thats willing to work for it. Immigrants have come to this country and lived in ghettos and tenements and by hard work have become the rich and influential. Welfare and the welfare mentality will not lead to prosperity but for those that abuse it, they serve as leeches of prosperity. The failure of governments to police these programs adequately transcends political affiliation.

"The light at the end of the tunnel is an oncoming train"

I would like to ask you the following question, because of my age. (1). Have you ever observed fruits & vegetables being picked in the fields the conditions that the pickers live under in shacks usually without indoor working plumbing paying the tennant farmer for the privilege to do so all at minimum just for a chance for themselves and their children most of whom come here as toddlers and have no concept of immigration what they do know is fear and mistrust and to stay away from police. Let alone go to a welfare office. Did you know that the Welfare you discuss in your writing if you added up all of it Federal and both state and local in my lifetime of 60 years it does not equal the money spent by George W, to bail out wall street and the banks. Corporate welfare just looking at each years budget exceeds the so called Welfare spent by 83%. This money is going to enities that most already pay little to no tax. Look it up !!! The real information is out there the internet is a great source just look at the source and whether it is jaded either "Left or Right" or some other agenda the skews the results. Finding out the real information would make people really "Vomit" at how decieved they have been and angery at the "real" problems and how little attention they get by this government and it's servants. The debt that this country has is of little or no consequence in reality because the money is not real "read the bills in your wallet". Who is going to force america to due anything??? Ask yourself what other country has a Greater GDP and what other country in the world has the Greatest Military. If we move away from the table the World would suffer much more than us. but there is no need to do so. we as a country have been in much greater debt than now look at history ! The only thing that produces prosperity is Goods and Services and the money you get in trade for them no matter who you trade with when you make bad trades prosperity not so much. If we really want a Better America then the starting line is clear, Stop Corporate Welfare ! Have trade agreements that are far more equal than we have ! Then the economics would be better for all of us in stead of this trickel down that never really get down to all of us and then work on the more important problems, Health, Education, Food, and Housing these are the real problems and the better we get at them the more prosperity We All will have!

While the migrant farm workers are a part of the migrant population, the undocumented workers I normally see are those that stand on the street corners waiting for contractors to pick them up...Wages for those jobs, while still below a Union scale, are a lot better than farm workers and it still gets sent out of the country to families in their native countries, which doesn't help our economy..Yeah, they might or might not go to welfare offices, but they sure go to Emergency rooms & public schools...
