in a recent letter, the pope blamed the molestation of it's members, by priest, on the music and movies of the 60's. that's a real stretch since their hierarchy has been abusing and molesting it's catholic members for the better part of the last 2000 years.

Let alone the church abusing and molesting non-Catholic persons. The Pope has a really tough job to do here. The conservatives who in fact hold major power want this swept under the rug. The less conservative members and priests risk the longevity of the church if these things are fully disclosed. This is not a business mistake but a terrible loss of internal supervision and control. The pope might consider ending celibacy which could help.

The Catholics forbid contraception in a world of diminishing resources and a growing world population. They have some fundamental doctrine to sort out.

True, Your side likes to wait until after their born to put them in cages or better yet, wait until their 18 and then send them off to an unnecessary war and let them die fighting for the oil companies.
