Try it and let us know. I suspect that Fuji uses the same Menu system for all its cameras.
One criticism I've read in Fuji reviews is of their bad Menu system. I've never seen it, though. I would think that once you get used to it, you'll be able to use it.
I think the Fuji menu system is just fine! I hated the Nikon system. In fact I hate ALL menus except those in restaurants! A menu system is only bad" if is different from the one you are used to. The great virtue of the Fuji system is that once you set up the camera, you just about never need to wade through the menu again. All the controls you will ever need (save a very few) are right on the body under your fingertips
Thanks for the very well done PDF. I shoot with an X-T1 and fine your PDF along with Dan Bailey's book "Fujifim X Series Unlimited" to be very helpful.. Thanks again!
What a GREAT ideal! I Shall use your approach for my cameras to record all the menu settings (getting old and I often forget!). Thanks a bunch. Chief Rob
Thank you for publishing this very valuable information. I'm planning on buying the xt30 soon
Please, please don't be discouraged by the few that are hateful folks..I don't know why, but the photography forums (not just this one) seem to draw a lot of unhappy folks.
Thank you for posting the settings PDF. I downloaded it as a guide as I am getting ready to purchase a fuji x camera and this will probably work fine for a starter setup.
Keep on posting and asking questions. There are no dumb questions, only dumb people giving the answers sometimes!

I know that there are some people out there who might get upset with me for posting.
The last time I posted, I was told to that I have no business having this camera! And I
have not posted since. I was thinking of just leaving the group, but have found that
most people here are friendly and truly try to help the community.
So as my story goes, I am back to being a beginner as I have not done any serious
photography in over 30 years. When I was in my early 20's I had a small photography
business that actually did fairly well.
Well the reason for this post, is that I am hoping this will help others with the new
Fujifilm X-T30. The attached PDF is how I set up my menu, it will also give you a
better view of the menu without having to sift through all the camera settings one by
one.
Hopefully this will help some of you out.

Thank you for the PDF. A local camera store is having a demo day and I am interested in the Fuji XT-3/XT-30. Your PDF will give me a head start.
Remember that the Fujifilm camera's have 7 custom profile settings for Jpeg. You can change one or more of the settings on this "custom menu" and have up to 7 custom settings to draw from with a simple custom profile change from one to another. No reason NOT to have up to 7 custom profiles in your camera before leaving the house or hotel for the day. This style of template encourages a way to ease the necessity for shooting RAW.
Someone on this site suggested that Jpegs do not tolerate post processing well. What a load of Horse Manure. Make some comparisons on new contemporary processing of Jpeg compared to RAW, instead of pedalling your old findings.
This custom PDF listing is one of the best ways to learn your camera to avoid Gear Gass.
Practice and make the right comparisons.
With information like this template, begins the reason I have not shot RAW for some time, and generally only use my computer to organize files. The differences between PP,ing RAW, and then learning to process with your camera image processor, and a little bit of PP,ing Jpeg's is minute.
Good article, good PDF, Thank you for this origimatic post.
If you follow the logic of 7 different custom profiles, be sure to list the seven shooting styles you intend to achieve with each custom profiles. Update list of shooting profiles as you change them. Recording your changes is a must, starting with the first use and changes of this shooting menu.
Disregard whoever addressed you such a shitty manner. You are correct most are friendly, but there are a few arrogant assholes as well. Do not be discouraged just pay them no mind.
Hi Mjmgka - Thanks for the info !! I too have been abused on this website - and yet here I am back for more abuse. I got a bad case of GAS last month and bought this ol' X-T30 and so far I am frustrated and confused and have nothing but very mediocre photos - So thank you for the guide maybe this will help.
THANKS AGAIN

Not sure, see how much of this matches your menu setup.
