It would be easy to get lost in that image. So much going on there.

It was very cool walking around that area.

Thanks everyone for checking out my image. Bisti is an amazing area, but it's aging quickly. There were 3X the hoodoos the first time I visited maybe 15 years ago. Still very amazing, but don't delay too long.

Can you give a more exact location in the Wilderness? Perhaps GPS coordinates from your picture, if you would be so kind. The picture is just so amazing, I'd love to be able to go there.

I don't have the Coordinates. It was such a gordacious day with the beautiful clouds I got going just after sunrise and hiked and explored the entire day with no thought of where the images were captured. I took over 100 images that day with an amazing "keeper" rate. I finished up with a few sundown images and moon-sundown shots.

So, I guess bottom line is keep hiking and looking and good luck!

Thanks, Greymule. I will definitely search for that spot. Perhaps the rangers can recognize it from the picture, since it is just absolutely amazing. I too prefer the black and white rendition. You do a fabulous job on your images!

I've never seen any rangers anywhere around there, but maybe if you called the station.
