Anyone using an Android tablet as a field monitor with your DSLR?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions or feedback about that.

I use an iPhone on my GH4 with Panasonic’s Image App.

If you need a real monitor, Atomos makes some of the best...

Thanks, Bill. What would you say are the advantages of a real monitor as opposed to a tablet?

Thanks. I am thinking of using a tablet for controlling the camera with an app and live view (for stills). I posted here because it occurred to me that some video shooters might be using a tablet as a monitor. Brightness in daylight might be an issue. 4K and FULL HD monitor, options to record on an integral SSD drive might be more important for video shooting.

Definitely for video. But stills, too.
