#4 and #5 appear to be in the style of Paul Cezanne, a contemporary and friend of Monet's. Many artists collected each other's works. I have not yet had a chance to visit there, but it would not surprise me if Monet's collection at his home would include others such as his good friend Renoir. Cezanne's style inspired Picasso to invent cubism. He is considered the bridge from Impressionism to Cubism in the evolution of art styles. #6 is more Monet's style, but I have never seen it before in books. I enjoy all your pix. Thanks.

Actually late August into September timing is not that bad, most European schools have started up again and the French are just returning from their month-long hiatus. We have tried all seasons many time over, and I lived over in Paris for one year in an earlier life (55 years ago). The only tough time we find is July into middle of August because of the heat and, as you mentioned, the tourists (like us) that seem to replace a good part of the local population. Thanks for your input!
