Sandhill hatching time of the year here in central Florida. Because of the Sandhill's size and appearance they are viewable and entertaining to watch with their babies. These were taken out on the cattle ranches and not easy to get near. The colts start out very orange and fuzzy and as they get older fade and lose their orange.

And now I know they're called colts! Engaging and fun, especially like #2 with the lifted foot (going places!)--thanks for posting! Nos. 3, 4, and 5 look a little dark, at least on this end. Perhaps a boost in exposure and contrast, but of course that's your call.

Thanks...hard to edit especially dealing with the adults and colts together on a cloudy day at about 75 meters.
