...hey man, you caught the gist! BITD we kids would motor down to Lions Dragstrip in Long Beach and watch the Nicholsons and Landys and Strums, and of course the fuelers, et al. Biggest charge was getting a pit pass and hangin' there...nothing like a snootful of nitro to getcha goin'!

The green Duster spins my wheels. Catching it
with the front wheels in the air... Nice work!

Could I suggest sir, slowing down the shutter a tad
to get some blur in the wheel/tyre assemblies, and particularly,
on the composition, getting some room in front of the car
to give it somewhere to go next time.

Hi Abo:
Your so right about getting some blur for the wheels, etc. The last time I shot any kind of drag racing was at Lions Drag Strip in California about 55 years ago. But this event was fun. Next time, if I go I will approach the shots a bit different. Thanks for your comments.
