The downloads show good detail but I struggle identifying Gulls....there are so many species. It is always a treat to see your birding photos Donna, these are beautifully done.

I'm so glad you enjoyed this post, Phil, and you certainly know birds of every kind. Laughing Gulls are our most plentiful gull and by far our loudest. They're not only on and around all our beaches but can be seen in nearly every Walmart parking lot as well. lol Thanks so much, Phil.

Not to many Donna, I'm 204 miles from the coast as the crow flies, Some times they hang around area lakes

Johnny, I didn't realize you were that far away from the coast, but you're right. Sometimes they do hang around the lakes...and sometimes white pelicans too! Glad you like the bkgr. The water looks more grey than blue for some reason, but I thought it looked OK.
