You shouldn't have shown the "before" 
A gorgeous richly colored daffodil (jonquil?) in full sunlight is a hard act to follow. Would love to see if you can remove some of the sketch effect from the flower petals - but that's just my own vision.

Thanks for sharing the SOOC image and the processed image. The sketch image reminds me of something from a box of expensive notecards. I do like the Linda suggested edit a little better. Thanks for editing it. What do the characters signify? Thanks for sharing them.

Joe -- Thanks for the comments, especially the 'expensive'. So....I get you and Linda both to jump me???
The characters are just a fun (for me) thing that I do sometimes. It's sort of fake Japanese or Chinese-ish.
It says Weirding Optical Concepts... a long story there.

I think I like the original best. Of course this section is about PP and your edits show how many different directions you can go with the same basic idea. Very nice.
