Eastern meadowlark

previously I viewed a topic "Western meadowlark" and discussions included comments about comparing the Eastern to the Western. These were shots that were comparable to the western in the field and heavily cropped (from about 100 meters). Also would ask for comments about using a teleconverter for the "long"shots. These were taken with a newly acquired Nikon D850 and Sigma 150-600 contemporary.

Great shots, Vic! I find the 2X teleconverters tend to soften the result, but not so with the 1.4.

I think these came out nicely; I bought a Tamron 150-600mm last year and really like the photos I get.

Was trying to get eagle shots driving beside fenced cattle ranches on either side of my truck looking for eagles and sandhill crane colts onthe way to Lake Kissimmee Florida.
