)Larry, excellent set and yes, they are very skittish for sure. When I lived down there I found that central Florida had an abundance of Quail and they used to generally fly once you got within 25 feet or so. I remember we also used to see one take a perch on something above the ground to stay as a lookout. That is what we called it. Again, excellent set with the last one being fantastic.

I love Quail and used to hear them call in spring and love to hunt them in the fall with my bird dog but that was 50 years ago and all that is just a memory now.
