Does any one own the Holtz leather camera strap? I want it to attach to the side of each metal on the camera not the bottom

I'm not sure what the Holz leather straps looks like. However, search the B&H site for Op/Tech connectors.
Op/tech has a variety of connection solvers. You could also try https://optechusa.com/

Check B&H (searched on "strap rings").

For my money, I always to with the UpStrap. The owner is a bit gruff on the phone and the web site is fairly crudely built, but these straps will not slide on the shoulder. I get the medium strap with the flat web connectors. I have used it for cameras from the Fuji XT2 to the Hasselblad HD4-50 with no problems. They are made to carry a lot of weight.

I never use the advertorial straps provided by the manufacturer and want a functional strap not a bit of glamour dressing.

My $0.02.

He/she said that attaching to bottom of camera is NOT desired.

I love the part about "Your shoulder will explode and you will grow old before the Upstrap breaks"!

I prefer a sling type strap to move off my chest easily as I am walking around not taking pictures, and also like the lens cap to be attached, but all easily removable or interchangeable. I got 2 car key ring type rings onto the camera strap rings. Then using small spring clips, the cap or strap easily come off and on.

I did the car large rings and a swivel clip on my D810 .. it left some nasty marks on the camera on each side after 1 year of use .. My D850 got none of that ...
