You tell us that Trump with his tax cut did nothing for the poor and middle class but those people say different. Along with the tax cut given by Trump, many millions received a substantial bonus from their own company. The middle and poor class did pretty well. The corporations get a tax cut because they are the ones who pay 90% of the taxes for the rest of us. Of course to Liberals that isn't anywhere near as much as they should pay. They are also the ones who provide employment for the rest of us. How many poor people have hired you? Liberals also tend to forget that these same corporations donate Billions of dollars to help the rest of us in the form of museums, building hospitals, schools and so on. But all you Liberals see are the deep pockets and you want some of that money."

I did some fact checking. Here are some of the results.

Dennis, both liberals and conservatives complained about the rich getting wealthier during the Obama administration. The Occupy movement referring to the wealthy getting wealthier and using the 1 percenters started in 2011.

As for bonuses going to employees. This was mainly a PR stunt. Giving employees a one time bonus was cheaper than giving them a permanent pay raise.

"Fortune 500 corporations are getting 12 times as much in tax cuts as they are giving to workers in one-time bonuses and in wage hikes. 111 companies are getting a total of $75.5 billion in tax cuts, compared with $6.2 billion in one-time bonuses and wage hikes for workers."

As for corporations paying 90 percent of the taxes. That does not compute.

"Almost half of all federal revenue (48 percent) comes from individual income taxes. The income tax is generally progressive: higher-income households pay a larger share of their income in income taxes than lower-income households do.

Another 35 percent of revenue comes from payroll taxes, which are assessed on the wage or salary paychecks of almost all workers and are used to fund Social Security, Medicare Hospital Insurance, and unemployment insurance. By law, employers and employees split the cost of payroll taxes, but research has shown that employers pass their portion of the cost on to workers in the form of lower wages.

Corporate income taxes make up about 9 percent of federal revenue, with the remaining 8 percent coming from excise taxes, estate taxes, and other taxes. Excise taxes are collected on the sale of certain goods (e.g., fuel, alcohol, and tobacco); they are intended to raise revenue and, in some cases, discourage consumption of the taxed product. These made up about 3 percent of federal receipts in 2017."

And again you are lying through your pathetic ass. I have seen photos of the area where kids live. Apparently you have not. The kennel years were during the Obama administration. It is different now, better now. Rather than run your lying mouth why don't you look it up and actually see what is going on. Or would you rather continue to bad mouth President Trump which is all you seem capable of doing.

Again, where was your anger over the cages when Obama put the kids into the cages and separated them from their parents. Why didn't any of you Liberals raise a stink then like you are doing now? Let me save you the trouble. You did not give a s**t then. You really don't give a s**t now but it is a way, though incorrect, you can try to put Trump and his policies down.

you will never change t*****r boy but at least you are consistent in having your head up your ass.

Outgoing Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen was asked during a March congressional hearing how facilities being used to house unaccompanied minors are different from cages.

New Jersey Democratic Rep. Bonnie Watson Coleman asked: "Does it differ from the cages you put your dogs in when you let them stay outside? Is it different?"

Nielsen replied: "Yes ... It's larger. It has facilities. It provides room to sit, to stand, to lay down."

The only people I have a problem getting rich are the ones in congress. They go in broke and come out with millions. Most of it is our money.

Good to know. If both Conservatives and Liberals complained about the rich getting richer during the Obama administration then that shows I am absolutely correct that Obama did make the rich richer but did nothing for the middle class. I can accept that.

Bonuses going to employees being a PR stunt. I can accept that too but I honestly doubt most companies would spend tens to thousands of dollars for a PR stunt. Doesn't make much sense to me. But nonetheless the employees DID receive a bonus and a pretty hefty one at that, along with the Trump tax cuts. I could be wrong but I don't believe Obama ever did a tax cut for Americans. I will go even farther and mention Nancy Pelosi has stated, I heard her, that if a Democrat wins the 2020 White House she will want taxes raised. Something for Americans to look forward to, huh? Ahh, those Liberals always looking to bend good Americans over the proverbial stump economically. Of course they will need something to pay for all of the i*****l a***ns coming across the border, something to give free medical benefits to the world.

As for the rest of it and corporations paying 90% of the taxes, perhaps I should have said rich people rather than corporations.

Dennis, you called them cages when Obama was president. Quote, ".....the fact that it was Obama who started putting kids in cages. Apparently it was acceptable then but not if Trump does it.

I think if you check the records you will find that the Trump administration does not put kids in cages but houses them in clean dormitories with accommodations better than most of us have at home."

It wasn't me that decided the kids are are in cages. The press calls them cages and it was Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen that called them cages when testifying before a congressional committee.

I don't think they are in cages as the term implies. I think they are in a chain link compound with a lot more room and facilities than the vision one perceives from the word.

The photos I have seen from the Obama administration shows the kids in a type of chain link compound. I was using the word cages because t*****r boy and other Liberals have used the term cages. I agree they are not cages as such that a dog or animal would be housed. To be honest, I had seen no images at all of the kids or housing for i*****l a***n housing when Obama was President. All I have seen is the photos in the past few months that alleged these were the Trump initiated cages but were later proved to be started by Obama.
Again, I realize they are not actual cages but holding areas. The other newsworthy video I saw a few months ago was a video of the area where i*****l a***ns and kids are housed in now. They are playing soccer outside, very nice accommodations and so on. Not cages, not chain link areas but nice areas.

Just as the Muslim terrorists are housed in Guantanamo Bay, with all the modern comforts of home, I believe these i*****l a***ns and their children are being housed better than most of our poor people. Yet the Liberals such as t*****r boy continue spewing garbage that they are being kept in cages.

I didn't agree with the way the housing crises was resolved. But remember when assigning blame for how it was handled, that the Republicans controlled Congress and the purse strings. Obama approved it.

Congress bailed out banks (and their stockholders), automakers and insurance companies but not the people that lost their jobs and were paying way to much for their homes. Like I said, I don't think anyone was happy about it except the banks etc. that received money.

Biggest sham politicians ever played on their i***t constituency.

Anybody with a minimum understanding of business, and/or basic math for that matter, understands that product is based on input. One of the main inputs to the equation is labor cost. When government adds costs to that product, other factors in the equation must be reduced to keep the same product.

Unfortunately, labor is one of the easiest factors to adjust. So politicians, full well knowing that fact, and in order to sell their "payroll" taxes to the public, sells it as you and your employer are splitting it. In reality, the employee pays the whole thing, half deducted directly from their wages, and the other half, since that pesky equation comes into play, in lower compensation as a result of the lower amount available in the labor factor divided up among the employees.

Agreed with one stipulation, I seem to recall someone commenting to, I think, Maxine Waters, on video that Bush had asked specifically if there were not problems with people not being able to make their payments, if there was not going to be problems if the housing bill (wh**ever it was called) went through. Waters stated there were absolutely no problems at all. Pretty stupid of Waters though over the years she has only gotten more stupid as well as r****t in her thinking.

You are absolutely correct. I don't think most people give a thought about who is actually paying the payroll tax. They just go along with what they are told .....that it is half and half.
