Has anyone tried Astrophotography with the R or RP yet (yes I have tried a search without luck )I'm Getting closer to adding Full frame to my arsenal and although my chances for milky way shooting are rare I would be interested in any real world trials with either camera and yes I do figure the R would do better than the RP .
Right now the 2 front runners are the 5DlV and a7lll (6Dll and RP tied for 3rd) Headed for the camera store to hold each in my hands this weekend

I think the RP is the only one that can do bracket shooting compared to the R. What matters most is the lens both are very capable at low light.

A friend of mine has the new RP and here's a time lapse of the milkyway taken recently with a 14mm Rokinon lens at ISO 4000, f/2.8/20sec exposures each. I don't know how many frames it took for this time lapse but she usually does at least a couple hundred.
