Thank you very much for hosting this Challenge Karin
These are the waning snowshoe trails which several of us created last November. Later ski-doos took them over so we made others whre they canno go....t'was a terrific fun winter
Maybe you could pick a winner or have UHH members vote on their favorites.
The winner is all of us as we get out if we can and focus on this particular idea. We hopefully grow in our knowledge and produce better images. And all are welcome to participate and share tips or ideas. Feel free to share things you may have learned, or places you loved to photograph.
Some of my old-fashioned images from Occupied Germany after WW II, showing a variety of paths. The first is a park area of the Upper Bavarian town of Berchtesgaden, famous for its beautiful Alpine scenery but also notorious for Hitler's presence there during the Nazi Third Reich (1933-1945). The second scene is a quirky pathway clinging along the side of a mountain, just above the Berchtesgaden Catholic church. The third photo shows one of the many footpaths between Bavarian fields; this one seems to climb right up to the sky with a rather rugged stairway.

Stunning photography Richard. You have captured history magnificently in all ways.
