"Quote Reply" - instean of Reply

I need to apologize to all whom I may have offended by not hitting the Quote Reply button. My very poor reason is laziness to learn the proper way to communicate to members on the UHH Forum. Please don't mistake my "reason" as an excuse. Ignorance of the rules is no excuse.
I want to thank those of you who took time to guide me to the correct way to do things.
I need to revisit all the guidelines/rules of engagement, pay more attention, and demonstrate the respect I intend and you all deserve.
I respect this forum and all the members who have generously contributed to and increased my knowledge.
Although I am new to the Forum I needn't continue to act in a naive manner.
Thank you all.

Welcome to the forum, and personally I don't think you even have to apologize.
I can't think how someone could feel offended for you not using the "Quote Reply" option.

Just try and remember if it is a general comment or addition to the thread use "reply", if it is to one particular comment then use "quote reply".
And if you forget and click on the other one, well the world will not end because of it. Besides trying to figure out what the reply is to kills time, a plus for us retired types.
As the popular saying went when I was in the Army "Ain't no big deal, keep on trucking."
