Its April the second and this is what is happening in my part of North Carolina..
They said we my see an occasional flake or two, well its been snowing now for almost two hours, and it has been more than a flake or two.

I have a friend who recently relocated to Charlotte to get away from Ohio winters. I was amused to see her post on FB about this.

The year I moved to Charlotte which was in Feb of 79 we had over a foot of snow on the ground. We get some nice snows every once in awhile. Mostly though they are gone in day or two.

Here in Pennsylvania over the last week we have had temps as high as 70 and as low as 19...and on the warmer days its either really windy or rainy while on the colder days the sun is shining beautifully....its the roller coaster ride of early spring hope it levels out to a train ride soon....

Yupp been doing the roller coaster thing here also.....just thankful that for a change we aren't getting rain, for awhile it seemed as though it rained every weekend for about 15 weeks.

Unfortunately we keep getting excited when they say "looks like we have a dry spell coming....no rain on Thursday but expect showers on Friday..." Yeah we only seem to be getting a day or two without some form of water since last spring! It's starting to feel like Seattle here in Pennsylvania except in Seattle its just drizzly here its hard constant rain....ground was soo wet that this winter even with single digit temps we had mud and soft ground just inches below the surface everything is just so waterlogged its ridiculous but I am thankful and pray everyday for those that are experiencing all the flooding throughout the country.

I guess we were lucky. We just got a few flakes before noon then the sun came out and it warmed up.
Look at the bright side, it could have been more rain. I'd like to see a week go by without rain.
