This is not a left or right issue. It is a human issue. Don't write back with some right wing bs. Just answer the questions. Yes or no for one, the other money or people.

I just checked on the excellent health care system here in Turkey, it pays 95% of health care costs for all tax paying citizens, if you don't pay taxes you don't get heath care.

Why is it the job of the government to provide you with healthcare? Seriously, why? Because democrats want to provide to you so they can buy v**es, but along with what they provide, they keep you right where they want you.

So, you say, that 300 million people have health care and 30 million don't, many of them are i******s, and so we write the laws for 10 percent of the people. That is democrat lunacy.

Elaine 2025, I ask you the same two questions I ask Dennis. Are you going to stand up an answer the questions or run and hide behind some right wing bs.

Where I fault the articulators of Obamacare is that they never understood how so many other countries figured out how to provide better health care for so many people at far less cost in a way consistent with their social/governmental structures. Britian did it by government owning all facets of health care (Bevin model). Germany did it with an insurance model (Bismarck model). I could go on, but you get the drift. How the ACA got created is the subject of a 455 page (exclusive of reference & index pages) book by Steven Brill, “America’s Bitter Pill.” You will learn the role of all the actors, including Big Pharma, Big Insurance, Big Hospitals. The latter knew exactly what to keep out of ACA and what to make sure was in. Now you can understand how a nearly century old therapy, insulin, can be priced so high. People in the medical sciences use various metrics to guage health care. One such is displayed below.

More stupidity. The results on that chart has nothing to do with the quality of the health care or the health care system. Every researcher knows about the cause and effect of that grid. It has everything to do with the life style in this country compared to other countries. We eat crap here, and they have far better eating habits than Americans do. This is not a secret, but then again you have to look into the research a little an just superficially looking at that graph and just assuming the answer. It's the life style, nothing more. No health care system would change those results.

Yes I realize the amount of people it represents. I am not good at math but am certainly not that bad either.

Have you heard that with Obamacare there were 7 million Americans who had their own insurance but when Obamacare took over as the law of the land, those 7 million lost their insurance. I am not sure if they ever were able to get insurance or not. But speaking about numbers, what about those people? Surely they had a right to not lose their insurance as they were paying for it themselves. Must the tail always wag the dog in Liberal La La Land?

What Right Wing BS are you talking about? Are we only supposed to listen to the Left Wing horses**t you and yours want to feed us on a daily basis?

This is exactly a Left or Right issue. That is the problem. As a Conservative I believe that the government does not owe me anything except that stated in the U.S. Constitution. Generally speaking employers in America provide health insurance as a provision of employment when working for that company. Those who work then have health insurance.

As a Liberal you believe that the government should take care of us all from birth to death, medical insurance for all, free education for all, jobs with government regulated pay for all, and so on. And what do Liberals expect the populace to do to receive such benefits? Nothing, absolutely nothing at all. If you are breathing the government should take care of you. If you are a lazy slug on the welfare rolls and decide you just don't want to work then you don't have to. You will still be given free welfare money, free medical benefits, education, wh**ever you need to live a good life. To you Liberals there should be e******y for everyone. But that is not what our forefathers said, is it? The e******y for all means e******y of OPPORTUNITY for all. That is still valid today.

Take a look at newcomers to America. Many come here and work their asses off and start a business or work for someone else and work their way up the ladder of success. Then there are the others that you work hard to support. They are the welfare kings and queens, who have never worked, never finished school, had multiple births (because welfare pays more money when you have more kids). They basically do not want to work because many states, 37 I believe, give more money to welfare recipients than someone working full time would make. Hell, why should they work when my tax dollars will support them?

That is the problem and why it is a Right Vs Left issue. You want to give away America to anybody that comes across the border or who is born here and doesn't want to join the work force. You love those people. I don't want to pay for them with my money.

I guess Mick Jagger doesn't think much of that wonderful health care you hear so much about in the UK. Had his heart valve surgery here in the US.

Of course, some of you will believe him. You know what P.T. Barnum said?

Come on Louise. You can do better than this. Try a little research. You might find it helpful if you took a yellow marker and highlighted the important parts of the article or book and then you could go back and refer to it.
I have a feeling you were told you're learning disabled but I believe you're just lazy and have bad study habits.
Take today off and start practicing what I've just told you.
It might change your life.

Dennis 2146: you wrote:" As a Conservative (I have no problems with that) I believe that the government does not own me anything." Ok, now turn in your Social Security's check (If you get one.) Stop all vet benfits you are getting or will be getting. If you work in some part of farming stop government subsidy. It one thing to talk about something , but to walk the talk is something else.

It's obvious by your posts your "study habits" and "research" included a whole lot of how to become a loser.

Bill, you might have a valid point if checked out early on SS disability and are a malingering trough diver like many I know but most of the rest of us were mandated by law to pay in pay into SS and many of us who were self employed, such as myself, paid the full amount, not half like employees did. OBTW, from your demeanor, I would guess most vets wouldn't allow you to shine their shoes. Talk about not getting it, you take the cake.

Ahh. How nice. Spudly is jumping to the defense of his little friend.
Do something constructive and go plant potatoes.
Hey Spud. Are you and Elaine dating? Asking for a friend.
