Welcome to UHH Tom, glad you joined us. Couple of good first posts. The forum is made up of many sections, street, macro, sports, etc. Click on the "Home" feature at the top of the page, then at the bottom of the next page "All Sections" and then subscribe to the ones that interest you. You will see "Critique" section ( a tough bunch) and "For Your Consideration" ( a kinder group). These two might interest you.
Have fun, learn and enjoy the forum.

I just started taking photos a couple of weeks ago with a D7200, a couple of kit lenses, and a 35mm F2 AI from Nikon, and have been enjoying it. But, I don't know a lot of people with more photography skill where I am to give feedback, so I thought I'd introduce myself here and see what people think of some things. Any input is greatly appreciated!

Good start, although looks like your Exposure may be off a tad. Might want to explore the subject of "Exposure Compensation", that may add some knowledge to your Photography and assist you in creating some stunning images. Also, explore ISO, Auto ISO, Aperture Priority, Manual Exposure, Shutter speed, and how they affect the images you create. I too am a beginner in DSLR Photography, 3 years now, so I am just passing along to you suggestions made to me in the past. Here at UHH we all share and learn together from each other. The more we learn, the more we can share. Best wishes to you in your Photography journey.

Already doing all that, so my exposure has been dictated largely by my taste, which has been developed essentially in a vacuum so I'm happy to get some feedback on that. Do you think I need a bit more or less exposure?

Yes, Exposure is dictated by each individual Photographer, it can be an the "Expression" of what YOU see as a Photographer, so I may have misspoke in my comment. I hope to see more of your Photography, and we all may learn and progress together.
