I came across an Instagram site that you might like to scroll through. The photographer is an old friend of mine from years back when we both lived on Long Island. I haven't seen him in a few years when he was visiting Delaware. You might enjoy his nature photography, or not.

Great photos.
Noted he is a "Canon Explorer of Light" - there are only 42 listed on their site at present and he is one.
Anyone with that designation is good-very good. You may not like their style of photography but whatever it is they are very good at it.
I note he only uses full frame. And one of those is an EOS R mirrorless for more MP & less vibration when doing something with tiny details. That picture of the gear he was taking to Yellowstone. 4 lenses/2 extenders -, I own and use 2 of the lenses and the 1.4x. So I guess my lens choices are fairly good. But on a retired teachers money I have to be content with 5DIV, 7DII and 80D for my bodies.
Nice photos, your friend sure gets around.

Years ago he shot with a D1x, Nikkor 400 f/2.8 and stacked 1.4x and 2x convertors. He had to grind down something on one convertor to stack them. It worked for him. He didn't just become a photographer, he studied and worked at it his whole life.

If you are talking about NWPLI, I was there the night we founded it. We twisted George DeCamp's arm until he agreed to be president.

I asked George a couple of years ago what happened and he said he didn't know.
I went to the link and what I see sure won't help you grow. It won't reveal the meeting place unless you first become a member???
I am glad to see that somebody is holding it together.
