A few days ago, I posted some great shots of kite surfers enjoying Lake MI for the first time this Spring with my longest telephoto. Last night, the winds were calm and we got a beautiful sunset, so this time I was out with my widest lens. This is one of my favorites from the evening.

Colors are great but also the composition leading my view into the photo from right to left and wondering what is just beyond. Nicely done !

Stan - It is a very worthy area to see. From where this photo was taken, Frankfort, as you go further north up to Petoskey, to the tunnel of trees.. and on to Mackinaw... then over the bridge, by Lake Superior... so many amazing sites to see (and photograph). I do highly recommend it.
