Beautiful shots! I am a big fan of the capture with the Saguaro Cactus and Poppy’s and the Lupine added for color by Mother Nature.
It seems that no matter where in the Southwest you live, there’s a major bloom going on close by. I can just drive to the local Home Desperate and the open fields nearby are filled with Purple Verbena, Desert Sunflower, Desert Daisy’s and White Pebble Pincushion.

You are so right. We tend to think our poppies are special. But when one adds more into the mix, it gets "specialer."
