Have not had any shutter time this week. I did take my grandson for a walk in the woods last weekend and hoping these will count. Some of the things we saw.

Don't know how the cluster of oak leaves survived the winter.
Covered from top to bottom with these fungi - looked like the tree had the "pox"
Another trunk, different type of fungi
Had never seen these before. They looked very fragile. A spore of some kind?

Glad to see the robbins yesterday - they've been back about a week. The ducks stay year-round and I'm sure they're glad to see a bit of open water - sorry for the telephoto only resting on car window (600 mm equivalent). Other birds were too far away. A few other pics around that place and then I'll finish off with a bit of the urban context as seen from there.
They let the no fishing sign rot, but they do take care of the important things, as you see - plus a large small print sign about by-laws, dogs etc.
Greenhouses used to be important to Biology Department, but I guess their focus has changed and not much goes on there anymore. The city gardening club has a place on the site too.
