Coming to this one late, but . . . .
Yesterday was nice and sunny, a balmy 8C! Here are a few from my old dog-walking haunts in the University’s eco reserve, about a ten minute walk, but now I have to drive, more’s the pity. I would like to have gone into the old woodlot (untouched except for research in the last 50 years), but it wouldn’t have been prudent ;-)
Most pictures are taken within the old nursery lot, where they used to nurture trees and shrubs for campus enhancement etc and I have to confess it took me more like 30 minutes than ten. It looks like it has been used as a community garden since I was last there, so all sorts of changes. Let’s start with the detritus of dreams gone by – you have to hope they were realised before time moved on.
And I wouldn’t have known if it hadn’t been for this challenge, so thanks for getting me out there Lesley.
It’s still March and the land is only just emerging from the freeze up, so although the snow has about gone, colours remain muted.
Coming to this one late, but . . . . br br Yeste... (
